Report: Bucs will ride hot hand at QB and Winston’s fine with it The debate of whether or not the Buccaneers will keep franchise quarterback Jameis Winston benched was stirred up this past week after Ryan Fitzpatrick’s Week 1 performance against the New Orleans Saints. Keeping Winston benched on a short week when he returnsfrom suspension Week 4 was possible. Now it seems to be reality Jordan Whitehead Jersey , but with games to follow.According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Tampa Bay may continue to have Winston sit on the bench if Fitzpatrick continues to play well. This is also apparently agreed upon by Winston. That last paragraph sounds like Winston. He’s always been about the team first ahead of himself. However, Rapoport does note later on that Winston will eventually return. He adds that the team’s success with the current group of receivers Justin Evans Jersey White , the play from the offensive line, and playcalling from offensive coordinator Todd Monken has the team anxious to see what Winston can do. They won’t keep him shelved for long.USA Today: Bucs are going 5-11 This isn’t a good sign. With the changes the team has made this offseason, there are still doubts for the Buccaneers success heading into the 2018 season. And the USA Today feels the Bucs will finish with the same record as last season.I’m not sure if they are implying here that since Jameis Winston is missing the first three game of the season they will be in a funk the rest of 2018 or that Winston’s absence will leave him so rusty they will fail because of him. Regardless John Lynch Jersey White , not many gave them much of a chance those first three weeks of the season so why harp on the fact Winston is gone the first three weeks for another losing season?I get it. Tampa Bay hasn’t proven much as of late to turn doubters into believers. But just like the detractors asking “What makes you think they will be so successful,” one can also ask the naysayers “Why can’t they be successful?”Let’s wait for the season to get underway.
