JERUSALEM Carmelo Anthony Kids Jersey , Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- The Israeli military said Wednesday that the prison sentence of a soldier convicted of killing an incapacitated Palestinian knifeman was reduced by four months.


Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot accepted an appeal by lawyers of the soldier, Elor Azaria, to reduce his prison term, the Israeli military said in a statement.


"Your conduct was unacceptable and was contrary to the command and values of the IDF," Eisenkot wrote in a letter to Azaria.

On March 24, 2016, Israeli troops shot dead Ramzi Aziz al-Qasarwi and gravely wounded 21-year-old Abdel al-Fattah Yusri al-Sharif when the two Palestinians carried out a knife attack in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
